[FEATURED NEWS] Gotta catch 'em all: HTX engages young STEM talent at VJC

We visit Victoria Junior College for the first time to engage with youths and spread the news of our internship campaign

Hello Victorians! (Photo: HTX)

HTX participated in Victoria Junior College’s (VJC) EdVantage! Fair on 31 July 2024, offering students a glimpse into how we harness cutting-edge science and tech to strengthen the Home Team’s capabilities.

The HTXpress was once again the star of the show as it hosted crowds of students eager to learn more about HTX through immersive games and puzzles.

As usual, Spirit-40, HTX’s robo-dog, captivated students as it toured the campus grounds.

Some lucky students even got the chance to take this mechanical pup on a “walk”!

What lies behind the QR code puzzle? Students raced against the clock to piece it together and find out. Scanning the completed QR code reveals a new game that students can play on their mobile phones. (Photo: HTX)

No matter your personality type, HTX has the right job for you! Students pose with cards that best reflect their personality. Scanning the QR code on the back of these cards trigger an Augmented Reality (AR) experience that lets users find out more about what HTX does. (Photo: HTX)
