HTX is bringing DEF CON to Singapore for the first time, together with strategic partner Centre for Strategic Infocomm Technologies (CSIT).
The world’s largest hacking and security conference is coming to Marina Bay Sands 28-30 April 2026, and will bring cutting-edge cybersecurity insights, community learning “villages”, training to level up attendees and, of course, Capture the Flag contests.
“Bringing DEF CON to Singapore marks a major step in raising the profile of ethical hacking as a force for good. It is well aligned with HTX’s mission to grow local talent who can strengthen the digital safety and security of the nation,” said HTX Chief Executive Chan Tsan.
The inaugural DEF CON SG will be held in conjunction with the Milipol TechX Summit (MTX) 2026, which is taking place on the same days.
Organised by HTX and GIE Milipol, MTX 2026 will be a major public safety event that gathers government officials, industry leaders, and academia from around the globe to share insights and discuss matters related to technological trends and public safety innovation.
