HTX has expanded its partnership with French artificial intelligence (AI) leader Mistral AI with the signing of a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This agreement will deepen HTX and Mistral AI’s research collaborations on large language models (LLMs), large multimodal models (LMMs); and explore new frontiers in public safety with AI Platforms, Embodied AI, Video AI, AI for Cybersecurity, and applied AI research for AI Products.
Under the new MoU, HTX and Mistral AI will also jointly build advanced AI capabilities for the Home Team, including specialised models for robots, video analytics, cybersecurity systems, and fire safety applications.
HTX and Mistral AI have already been working together before this MoU, co-developing Phoenix, the Home Team’s series of LLMs, HT-Lexicon, an AI Safety benchmark tailored to Home Team context, and fine-tuning Mistral AI’s LLMs for Home Team use cases.
HTX will gain the following capabilities through this new research and development endeavour:
- Embodied AI capabilities:
- Robots capable of understanding natural language commands
- Autonomous navigation in unseen urban environments
- Object retrieval in unmapped environments
- Enhanced video analytics:
- Proactive crime prevention alerts
- Predictive tracking across multiple video streams
- Cybersecurity improvements:
- Automated security architecture review system for regulatory compliance
- Flexible, low-cost, on-demand vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT) capabilities
- Fire safety automation:
- Automated multimodal understanding of architectural plans
- AI-powered fire safety compliance checking
HTX’s collaboration with Mistral AI is part of the HTxAI Movement, which includes leveraging partnerships and collaborations with industry and academia to strengthen HTX’s internal AI capabilities and advance its AI R&D.
