We did it again! For the third year in a row, HTX has been named in Singapore’s Best Employers list, compiled by *The Straits Times* and global research company Statista.
Not too shabby for an agency that’s just a little over five years old.
So, what makes us stand out? These three Xponents share what they love about working at HTX.

Going to work never feels like a chore because it feels as if I’m always in the company of family. Yes, I would call my colleagues my family — that’s how close we are.
There’s rarely a dull day in the office, thanks to the vibrant team dynamics and supportive working environment. These stem from mutual respect, open communication, and a strong willingness to help one another whenever we can.
Most importantly, we’re a fun-loving bunch who enjoy sharing laughs, even when things get stressful!
I especially enjoy the agency’s eXpresso sessions. Think of them as townhall meetings — but with a fun twist that reflects our exuberant personality and our commitment to building a strong, people-first culture.

What I enjoy most about HTX’s culture is that we’re encouraged to join Communities of Interest (COIs) to connect with like-minded people. Having joined HTX as a full-timer just over a year ago, I’m always looking for opportunities to meet new people beyond my usual work circles. That’s exactly why I signed up for the agency’s newly created Shooting COI — and even got the chance to fire a pistol at a range!
The camaraderie I share with my colleagues is another reason I enjoy working at HTX. I still remember how they surprised me with a birthday cake while we were conducting trials at the Old Woodlands Checkpoint. It really touched me that they made time to celebrate, even though we were incredibly busy throughout the day.

I find the work I do at HTX incredibly meaningful, as it contributes directly to strengthening Singapore’s public safety capabilities. I also appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with peers from other HTX tech divisions and the wider Home Team — these experiences always bring fresh perspectives and valuable lessons.
I love taking on challenges, and there’s always a new one to tackle here at HTX.
What also stands out is our “work hard, play hard” culture. This really shines through during company events like our annual convention — essentially a workplan seminar similar to those held by other Home Team departments. But we do it differently, jazzing up this tech event with raucous cheers and plenty of laughter!
