Protecting Those Who Protect Us

On 26 August 2025, the Home Team Sustainment Centre (HTSC) was officially opened by Minister for Law and Second Minister for Home Affairs, Mr Edwin Tong. HTSC is an integrated facility that brings together four key Operations Centres: the Security Operations Centre, Network Operations Centre, Building Operations Centre, and Platform Operations Centre.

By having all four Operations Centres under one roof, HTX can proactively monitor the availability of these assets, minimising potential downtime. This allows our Home Team Departments (HTDs) to stay ahead of the curve and be well-prepared to tackle any technological threats that come our way.

Monitors and resolves security incidents while actively hunting for cyber threats. It detects, analyses and mitigates attacks, and takes down fraudulent Home Team websites to protect the Home Team’s digital assets.

Acts as the central fault‑reporting hub for Home Team agencies, overseeing day‑to‑day network operations. It tracks key performance indicators, identifies and rectifies network anomalies, forecasts network usage.

Monitors the health of Home Team buildings and infrastructure, carrying out pre‑emptive maintenance to improve sustainability. By identifying excessive energy and water consumption, it implements corrective actions that enhance efficiency and prolong the lifespan of the built environment.

Monitors the condition and performance of Home Team equipment, vehicles and vessels, conducting pre‑emptive maintenance to prevent breakdowns. It ensures that all platforms – from ground‑based assets to maritime and aerial assets – remain operational, reliable and ready to support Home Team missions.
