HTX and Civipol, the technical cooperation partner of the French Ministry of Interior, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly organise the Milipol Asia-Pacific and TechX Summit, a premier exhibition cum conference on public safety science and technology.
The partnership marks the beginning of a new chapter to further strengthen the bilateral cooperation between Singapore and France in public safety. HTX and Civipol will co-organise the next edition of the Milipol Asia-Pacific exhibition and TechX Summit in Singapore in 2024.
"It makes perfect sense for the two organisations to collaborate," said HTX Chief Executive Chan Tsan. "The events are complementary and also because Singapore and France are close allies."
Préfet Yann Jounot, Chief Executive Officer of Civipol and President of the Milipol said, "This partnership highlights that HTX and Civipol are two lighthouses in public safety technologies. Cooperating together on a major event like Milipol Asia-Pacific goes without saying as it helps to strengthen the relationship between our two ministries of Home Affairs and thus our two countries."
