The Home Team Sustainment Centre (HTSC) was officially launched by Minister for Law and Second Minister for Home Affairs Mr Edwin Tong on 26 Aug 2025.
The flagship project of HTX’s Capability Sustainment pillar, HTSC is a first-of-its-kind hub that provides a comprehensive overview of the readiness levels of a wide range of Home Team assets, from building facilities like lifts, chillers and server rooms, and police cars. One of the ways this overview improves sustainment capabilities is through being able to efficiently monitor interrelated issues across multiple systems.
HTSC is able to achieve this through Internet of Things (IoT) devices and sensors that gather and send data to a central platform that aggregates the information before it is processed by artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms and advanced analytics software.

During the launch ceremony, Mr Tong was briefed about the various capabilities of HTSC’s Network, Platform, Building, and Security operations centres.
HTSC became operational in August 2024 and has since been progressively ramping up its capabilities and onboarding the various HTDs. The centre is currently monitoring the assets of the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority and the Singapore Police Force and will have oversight of the rest of the HTDs by 2027.

“Since beginning operations last year, HTSC has proved to be a major boon to HTX’s efforts to deliver higher systems availability of our Home Team assets. Over the past year, HTSC has detected numerous anomalies, orchestrated vendors' investigations and responses, resulting in more than 30% reduction in fault call volume and 50% reduction in repair turnaround times,” shared HTX Deputy Chief Executive (Operations) Chen Yeang Tat.
“In line with the HTxAI movement, HTSC will integrate even more AI capabilities in the coming years to accelerate the transformation of Capability Sustainment; the backline workforce which plays an invisible but critical role in force multiplying our Home Team,” he added.
