Upskilling isn’t just a goal at HTX – it’s ingrained in our culture.

The AI Creator Jam 2025, held on 25 September at HTX’s headquarters, saw 50 Xponents learn about GenAI visual creation tools that they could use to develop information or communication materials for work.

These Xponents largely hailed from corporate functions, including Human Resource, Corporate and Finance (C&F), and the Sustainment Transformation & Risk Management Office (STRMO), which have not frequently used GenAI tools in their daily work in the past.

Jointly organised by HTX’s xCloud, xData and TIGER teams, the workshop was aligned with the HTxAI movement, which aims to foster an AI-ready workforce by equipping Xponents with the latest AI skills and knowledge.

Participants walked away with design tips, AI prompt strategies and the basics of using GenAI platforms – such as VisualAlzer, an in-house developed solution, and Google Vertex AI – to create specific types of images.

Samuel Lee, a senior manager from the C&F division, was one of those who received a prize for his poster design.

“We gained valuable insights into creating posters and eDMs using VisualAIzer and Google Vertex AI – tools that are efficient, user-friendly and hassle-free. Having my poster on workplace safety recognised as one of the winning submissions was an added bonus!” he chimed.

“We hope that the participants didn’t just take away new skills in AI image generation, but also a deeper understanding of how AI can amplify human creativity without replacing it,” said Acting Head, Content Platform Liu Yixin, who was part of the organising committee.
